The miniaturized image tube is an electrostatic focusing electron tube that can be used for light particle detection applications where a reduction in image size is necessary. The input diameter can be selected from 47 mm, 80 mm, or 150 mm. Due to its high dynamic range and high resolution, it is used as an alternative to optical taper fibers.
